Alexandra Villanueva, FNP

Alexandra Villanueva is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and began her nursing career on an adult medical-surgical unit, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in managing complex and chronic conditions. She transitioned to the pediatric emergency department, where she gained critical experience in acute care and trauma care, rapid decision-making, and supporting families through urgent health needs. Motivated to expand her impact and provide continuity of care across the lifespan, Alexandra then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.

As a provider, Alexandra is focused not only on treating illness, but also on promoting wellness, prevention, and long-term health. She brings a positive outlook and an empathetic approach to her patients, rooted in building trusting relationships and addressing each patient’s unique goals and needs. Alexandra is excited to begin her journey in primary care, where she aims to empower patients to take an active role in their health and long-term wellness.

Outside of her clinical practice, Alexandra enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling to new places, bike riding, and spending quality time with her husband, two dogs, family, and friends.
