Nazaneen Anwari, PA-C, DMSc is a board-certified Physician Assistant about delivering compassionate, patient-centered primary care.
She earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree from Shenandoah University, a program recognized nationally for its excellence in training Physician Assistants, emphasizing service and team-based care. Her education strengthened her critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical skills, and fueled her commitment to serving diverse communities.
Nazaneen discovered her love for helping others at a young age through community volunteering, which inspired her to pursue a career focused on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education. She gained early clinical experience as a pharmacy technician and dermatology medical assistant, honing procedural skills, diagnostic reasoning, and a deep appreciation for competent care. Bilingual in Farsi/Dari, she strives to ensure every patient feels heard and empowered to take an active role in their health.
In addition to her clinical practice, Nazaneen has experience leading community health workshops in partnership with organizations such as NovaScripts Central, ECDC and INOVA, bringing preventive care and wellness education directly to the community. Outside of work, she enjoys making homemade matcha lattes, reading, and spending quality time with family. Nazaneen is excited to bring her skills, compassion, and dedication to supporting the health and well-being of her patients.
