Appointments & New Patients

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we welcome new adult patients age 18 and older at all of our Maryland locations. Fill out the form on our Contact page or call 301-762-7723 to get started, and we will help transfer your records from your previous provider.

Do you offer same-day or same-week appointments?

Yes. We hold same-day and same-week appointment slots across all three Maryland locations for patients who need to be seen quickly. Call 301-762-7723 and we will find you the earliest available time.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can book online, fill out the form on our Contact page, or call 301-762-7723. Our team will help you choose a provider and a convenient location.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of your current medications, any relevant medical records or recent test results, and your copay if your plan requires one.

Do you offer telehealth visits?

Yes. We offer secure video visits for established patients for follow-ups, medication checks, refills, and results review. Some concerns still require an in-person exam; our team will tell you which visit type fits when you schedule.

Do you take walk-ins?

We are an appointment-based practice, but we hold same-day slots at all three locations. Call 301-762-7723 in the morning and we will usually find you a time that day.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the time to another patient. Cancellations or missed appointments without at least 24 hours’ notice are subject to a no-show fee; see the no-show policy in our patient forms for details.

Insurance & Billing

Do you accept Medicare?

Yes, we accept Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, along with most major commercial insurers and Maryland Medicaid (HealthChoice).

Do you accept my insurance?

Which plans do you not accept?

We accept most major Maryland Medicaid managed-care plans, but we do not accept UnitedHealthcare Medicaid / Community Plan. Coverage can vary by plan tier, so please call to confirm your specific plan.

How do I pay my bill?

You can pay your bill securely through our Patient Portal, or call 301-762-7723 and our team will be glad to help.

Your Care & Records

Can I message my provider online?

Yes, once you are a patient, you can message your care team securely through our Patient Portal.

How do I request or transfer my medical records?

Call 301-762-7723 or ask our front-desk team and we will guide you through a records request or transfer. We are glad to help bring records from a previous provider before your first visit.

What is the difference between an office visit and a physical?

A physical (annual wellness exam) is preventive care for patients with no active complaints. An office visit addresses a specific or ongoing problem. If both happen in the same appointment, your visit may be billed for both. Call 301-762-7723 if you are unsure which you need.

How do I request a prescription refill?

The fastest way is to ask your pharmacy to send an electronic refill request, or message your care team through our Patient Portal. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for routine refills, and request refills before you run out. Some medications, including controlled substances, require an appointment before they can be renewed.

Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

If your plan requires a referral, we will coordinate it as your primary care office. Message us through the Patient Portal or call 301-762-7723 with the specialist’s information, and allow a few business days for processing.

How do I get my lab results?

Results are posted to your Patient Portal as soon as they are reviewed, and your care team will contact you if anything needs follow-up. If you have not heard from us and do not see results in the portal within a week, call the office at 301-762-7723.
