Dr. Matthew D. Razavian is a primary care physician dedicated to bringing thoughtful, individualized care to his patients. As a native to the DC metropolitan area, he has a deep appreciation for the communities he serves and believes that effective medicine begins with understanding each patient’s unique background, goals, and experiences. Dr. Razavian focuses on prevention, chronic disease management, and empowering patients with knowledge they need to make confident decisions about their health. He views medicine as a collaborative process — one that should always be tailored to the individual patient.
Dr. Razavian completed medical school training at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Broward County, Florida, and Internal Medicine residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident. His clinical experience spans all primary care settings, from outpatient clinic medicine to critical hospital medicine, allowing him to approach patient care from a broad and compassionate clinical perspective.
When not working, Dr. Razavian enjoys exploring new hiking trails with his wife, supporting local theatre organizations, attending Cars & Coffee events, and going to Caps games.
