Colon Cancer Screening, On Schedule
Screening for colorectal cancer now begins at age 45 for average risk adults. We review your risk, order stool based testing when appropriate, and coordinate colonoscopy referrals, then track the results and recall intervals so nothing slips through. When symptoms such as rectal bleeding, persistent change in bowel habits, or unintentional weight loss appear, we expedite the workup. Schedule a visit if digestive symptoms have lasted more than a couple of weeks, or if you are due for screening.
