Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy Continuation in Rockville, Gaithersburg & Columbia, MD

Quality Primary Care Associates provides welcoming, respectful primary care for transgender and gender diverse adults, including the ongoing management of established gender affirming hormone therapy. Our role is continuation care: once hormone therapy has been initiated and stabilized by an endocrinologist, we manage your prescriptions, monitoring, and overall health so your care stays convenient and coordinated. We do not initiate hormone therapy; patients new to hormone treatment are referred to endocrinology first.

What Continuation Care Includes

  • Ongoing prescription management of your established hormone regimen
  • Routine lab monitoring of hormone levels and safety parameters, drawn in our on site lab
  • Screening and management of blood pressure, cholesterol, kidney function, relevant hormone levels, and other health factors related to hormone therapy
  • Age appropriate preventive care and cancer screenings tailored to your anatomy and history
  • Coordination with your endocrinologist for dose changes or new concerns

Primary Care in a Respectful Setting

Beyond hormone management, every patient deserves a primary care home for everything else: sick visits, chronic conditions, vaccinations, and annual exams. Our team uses your correct name and pronouns, keeps your records accurate, and treats your care as ordinary medicine delivered with respect, because that is what it is.

Getting Started With Us

If you are established on hormone therapy and looking for a primary care practice to manage your ongoing care, bring your recent endocrinology records and lab results to your first visit, or have them sent ahead. If you are considering hormone therapy but have not yet started, we are glad to be your primary care home and will refer you to endocrinology for initiation. Book online or call our office to schedule.
