We are thrilled to welcome Uroosa Anwaar, a licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant, to the Quality Primary Care team! Uroosa brings a deep commitment to comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care, reflecting the very values that define our practice.
A Virginia native, Uroosa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from George Mason University. She then completed her Master of Public Health at George Washington University, where she began her journey in healthcare serving the veteran community as a Senior Analyst.
Motivated by her passion to make a direct difference in patients’ lives, Uroosa pursued her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University in New Jersey—an institution known for training providers who deliver empathetic, community-focused care. During her time there, she served as Diversity Chair, advocating for inclusion and equity in healthcare, a mission she continues to champion today.
Uroosa discovered her calling in Family Medicine, where she thrives on building lasting relationships and empowering her patients through education and collaboration. She believes that great care begins with trust, communication, and teamwork.
Outside of work, Uroosa enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, going on walks, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She currently resides in Rockville, Maryland, with her husband.
Please join us in giving Uroosa a warm welcome to the Quality Primary Care family and we are excited for our patients to experience her warmth, expertise, and dedication firsthand!
