What Your Annual Exam Includes
Your visit is tailored to your age, history, and risk factors, and typically includes:
- A complete review of your medical history, medications, and any new symptoms
- Vital signs, including blood pressure and body mass index
- A head to toe physical examination
- Age appropriate screening labs, drawn on site
- A review of vaccinations and preventive screenings due for your age
- A written plan for the year ahead, discussed with you in plain language
Why Yearly Exams Matter
Conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and thyroid disease often develop silently, producing no symptoms until real damage has occurred. A yearly exam with the same care team that knows your baseline is the most reliable way to detect these changes early. It is also the visit where small concerns get addressed before they become urgent ones.

Beyond the preventive annual exam, we perform the routine physicals adults are asked to produce on short notice, and complete the paperwork during the visit whenever possible:

If it has been more than a year since your last complete exam, this is the easiest and highest value appointment you can make. We have an on site lab, digital EKG, and spirometry, so if testing is needed alongside your annual exam, it is one visit and done.
